Our laboratory focuses on molecular mechanisms of the biological macromolecules, with particular interests in membrane proteins, through multiple approaches including x-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, cryo-ET, biochemistry, and electrophysiology. We also interested in new method development in single particle cryo-EM and cryo-ET field to solve the recurring problems and expand their application. The ultimate goal of our research is to provide valuable information to facilitate structure-based drug design and development to treat human disease caused by dysfunction of these proteins in the near future.
